I'm a doctor at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and there are local community organizations that bring langar (community kitchen) for the families of the patients admitted at the hospital every day in the morning and evening and feed them for free so they don't even have to leave the hospital premises while staying in attendance of their sick relatives. Makes me proud of belonging to an open minded liberal religion despite not being much religious myself.

My parents work in a refugee center for newly arrived immigrants. The vast majority are Venezuelans (like us ) and most are very poor. The sad thing is that everyone tries to take a plane to skip the darien gap but the those that are poorer have to traverse it by foot when immigrating. My parents tell me some pretty horrible stories of what the refugees endured while migrating and most of the action usually takes place in the darién gap or by the mexico-US border. Hearing those stories regularly make me be more grateful that we had the privilege to fly a plane to the us and didn't have to see as many hardships

the amazigh should be proud of their identity but i think the whole world's population should be speaking 1 language, the difference of languages divides people. for example this is something i noticed: in war if you see someone speaking a foreign language die as he's speaking it there's a way less change that you will sypathize with him or feel sadness, you will just think he's an alien. i think maybe that's the reason why nations rarely tend to invade or go to war with people speaking the same language.
